Astro Coffee Bar is a coffee shop located in Boulder, Colorado. As the coffee industry has evolved with drive-through service, double-sided stand-alone locations, and order-ahead technology, the next big step is mobile coffee. The goal of this project was to bring the identity of Astro Coffee Bar to life. The brand has undergone several rebrands, so the objective was to preserve the existing “A” icon and Astro typeface while introducing a mascot to strengthen the company’s visual identity.

The van will serve as a staple for Astro, designed to emphasize a modern aesthetic while using varied finishes to stand out from traditional vehicle wraps. At the same time, the design maintains a subtle, minimalist feel to stay true to the brand.
